It has been an eventful summer at Ben Lomond Lavender. Plenty of rain showers throughout spring ensured a record harvest of lavender. Finding a window in the weather to harvest was problematic but eventually successful and we were pleasantly surprised by the high percentage of oil the crop distilled.
The shop has benefited from the tremendous increase in tourism. Asian visitors love our gardens and the lavender field. The views, fragrances of the garden, fresh air and clear skies are only a dream for many people and we feel privileged to show our visitors a beautiful place in New Zealand.
We are open until Easter. Shane is away from the 3rd March until the 18th. Hopefully I can answer any enquiries, Clive.
