The 2013 winter has been unusually warm with spring like conditions throughout August. Coronet Peak had good early snow for the opening of the Queenstown Winter Festival in June and looked to be a season for the record books. Unfortunately, after a few good frosts in July, the cold spell didn’t last. It feels like spring, so a lot of pruning of fruit tree and roses has been done and we are also preparing ground for new plantings of L.angustifolia. We have a wedding photo shoot booked in October, unfortunately too early for lavender flowers but all the spring bulbs and shrubs will be flowering,
