Once again our spring was a challenging one with wet and cold temperatures to deal with. It made for good transplanting weather which we made the most of in the display gardens. The lavender has been slower to bud up this season due to the cold, so no doubt we will in for a 2-3 week delay in harvesting for oil. We have replaced some older Angustifolia plants with young ones under weed mat. It is satisfying to have great demand for our oils and pleased to have been chosen as a food ingredient on the airlines.

Hopefully the summer is shaping up to a hot one. We look forward to our visitors to the farm ... read more
